The Art and Nancy Duo is made up of Art & Nancy Ruprecht from St. Louis, MO, a married couple with four children.
Since 2008, they have been performing all over the St. Louis area, providing a high level of musicianship and wide range of styles including jazz, country, R&B, oldies, blues and gospel. Performing standards as well as contemporary fare, Nancy's strong alto vocals blend with Art's jazz guitar and violin as they flow through a refreshing repertoire of uplifting melodies.
Nancy has a minor degree in music from Missouri State University. She is the lead singer for The Art & Nancy Duo, and is featured on the "All Is Well" CD, and on The Art & Nancy Duo project which is scheduled for release in late 2018.
Fred Middlekauff joins Art and Nancy on occasion, adding another dimension with his incredible talent on the saxophone, clarinet, flute and trumpet. He is featured on both of Art's CDs and on "All Is Well". Fred has been working in the St. Louis area as a professional musician for many years and also performs with the Meramec Jazz Band and many other local artists.
